 Saint Patrick's Day is an annual feast day which celebrates Saint
Patrick, one of the patron saints of Ireland. It is celebrated on 17th of March.
Saint Patricks Day is a national holiday in Ireland, Isle of Man and Montserrat.It is also
called as St. Paddy's Day. St. Patrick's Day is a holy day of obligation
for Roman Catholics in Ireland.
Green ribbons and shamrocks were worn in celebration of St. Patricks Day.
It is said that St. Patrick used the shamrock, a three-leaved plant, to
explain the Holy Trinity to the pre-Christian Irish people.
It is also celebrates in Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, the United
States, Argentina and New Zealand. The New York parade has become the
largest Saint Patricks Day parade in the world.
