Jesus was born to Virgin Mary, assisted by her husband Joseph, in the city of Bethlehem. It was not
an ordinary birth, an angel Gabriel told Virgin Mary that she would conceive and bear a special child
called Jesus christ. She was already the betrothed wife of Joseph of the House of David and awaiting their
imminent formal home-taking ceremony of their wedding. At the time that Mary to give birth, she and
her husband Joseph went to Bethlehem, to register in a census. As they found no place to stay,
Mary gave birth to christ in the stable, and placed the new born in a manger.
