Bulgaria :
Unification Day is a national holiday of Bulgaria on 6th September. It commemorates
the unification of Eastern Rumelia and Bulgaria in 1885.
Cameroon :
In Cameroon, it is celebrated on 1st October. It marks the anniversary of British
Southern Cameroons independence from the United Kingdom and unification with French
Cameroon in 1961.
Liberia :
Celebrated on May 14th. The day is to be observed as a national holiday throughout
the country.
Myanmar :
The day is celebrated in Myanmar as Union Day each February 12th. The Panglong Agreement
was reached between the Burmese government under Aung San and the Shan, Kachin, and
Chin peoples on 12th February 1947.
Tanzania :
It is celebrated on April 26th. Commemorates the unification of Zanzibar
and Tanganyika in 1964.
